about
In 1995 Jefferson and Sharon Fox employed the assistance of bassist Eric Weaver to salvage the band Drench, then in the midst of a breakup. With Eric aboard and pushing the band toward greater musical aspirations Drench was reborn, at least for the moment. A shotgun recording session with engineer Lou Whitney (Wilco, The Bottle Rockets, etc) would give life to the album Wahoo.
The friends played the Midwest and East Coast underground scenes for a short time and disbanded in 1997. Wahoo is a great look at the musical mindset of all three members who were unwittingly inserting themselves into the veins of the musical community. It's a rockin little record.
